Concerto aims to communicate events, announcements, and other information submitted by RPI organizations and individuals to the campus community through a variety of digital means, including web pages and large LCD screens.

Its almost seven months since Concerto was released to the RPI community. We now have 13 screens on campus, with a few more already in the works for coming weeks. A total of 223 pieces of content were submitted to the system in September alone! Over 550 members of the RPI community have logged in to check it out. Missing out? Concerto's deployment on campus has grown to 8 screens. Concerto is beginning to debut all over campus. We had a successful deployment yesterday in the Pittsburgh building, and our screen should be mounted in the CII windows within the next day or two. Concerto is in the final stages of development. The first set of screens will consist of a Union-funded 42-inch LCD TV in the main thoroughfare and two screens in the Pittsburgh Building lobby. Future screens will likely incorporate Commons Dining Hall and renovated Russell Sage Dining Hall (Fall 2008).
