Hate getting caught waiting in the snow for a campus shuttle to come by? The Senate is working with RPI administrative personnel to create an online system that will track all of the RedHawk shuttles. Using this tool, you will have the power to see how close a shuttle is to your location.
Though there have been some slight setbacks in getting the system up and running, trackers have been placed on all of the Redhawk shuttles in preparation for the full rollout of the system over the coming weeks. Yes: weeks, not months. We'd like to thank everyone for being patient for this system, and we hope that once it has launched the Shuttle Tracking System will provide you with peace of mind (and perhaps a little extra sleep in the cold mornings) as you wait for a campus shuttle to arrive.
Equipment and data services are currently being procured and a basic system should be going live before Winter Break.
