William Jones

I very much like all activities that have to do with the outdoors including mountain climbing, backpacking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and an innumerable amount of general camping and hiking. I also very much enjoy running and my study of Kenpo Karate.

Senate and Class of 2011 Council are my two primary activity on campus. I am fully willing to dedicate time to ensure that the Student Body of Rensselaer is represented in the best possible manner.

I am very excited to be serving my second term as Student Senator, representing the Class of 2011. First term was very successful, with projects ranging from Tenant Training Seminars, to Classroom Inspections, to reviewing the Student Rights Handbook , to Commuinty Safety initiatives. This term I was appointed to be the Senate Treasurer and will work to make sure that all necessary and proper funding is distributed to ensure that all Senate endeavors are executed with optimal preparation.
