The Student Senate collaborates with the surrounding city of Troy through the CRC. Currently concentrating on spreading the convenient RAD student cash system to downtown businesses, the CRC also works with the Troy City Council and the Mayor's Office.
The CRC is researching the possibility of implementing a system with the help of the RPI administration to expand the use of student RAD to downtown Troy. WIth such a system, students will be able to pay for purchases at favorite businesses in town without having to carry cash.
Have lunch with Harry J. Tutunjian, the Mayor of Troy. Every few months, the Senate invites the mayor to the Student Union to discuss current affairs with students. Have an issue with your housing? Interested in getting involved with the community? Talk with Harry!
