Rules and Elections

Chaired by Haris Khan

The Rules and Elections Committee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of elections. RNE, as it is affectionately known, manages elections for first-year students in the fall of each academic year, and Grand Marshal (GM) Week in the spring.

RNE is composed of members of the Senate and several other student government organizations. All members must be selected to join RNE, so the committee does not meet regularly outside of preparation for elections.

GM Week 2007 Elections Handbook

The Rules and Elections Committee will be holding roundtable discussions to walk through the elections handbook for GM Week 2007. Any past candidates and other interested parties are urged to attend and provide feedback about areas where changes are necessary.
